Stephanie Hannam has been a yoga practitioner for 20+ years and a certified yoga instructor since 2016. She discovered yoga at the YMCA, as yoga studios did not yet exist in the area where she lived. Over the years, she has practiced in many yoga studios across the country experiencing a variety of yoga teachers and offerings from hot yoga and ashtanga to yin and nidra.
She enjoys incorporating poses that help build strength in the body, sequencing her class in such a way that allows plenty of time to truly experience each pose. Her students may describe her class as slow and controlled with plenty of challenge. With her experience in a variety of yoga offerings, she likes to offer variations and modifications so everyone can get out of the practice just what they need.
A native Texan, Stephanie graduated from The University of Texas with a BBA in Business Management, and she works part-time from home in Operations and Accounting. She enjoys hiking, cycling, and working out. But, most of all, she loves raising her daughter with her husband and their best four-legged friend.
