Susan Casciato was first introduced to yoga as a teenager when she read Yoga, Youth and Reincarnation by Jess Stern. Many years later, she began practicing yoga when she felt unfulfilled from teaching fitness classes.
She studied yoga under Master Adam and Constance Weisberg before she completed Zen Hot Yoga's 200 hour teacher training program in 2013. She has continuously taught yoga since graduating and is currently studying under Avery Jones of Atma Boda to obtain her 300 hour certificate.
She loves the process of creating a themed class, including pranayama, gathering devotional and inspirational readings, and compiling a delicious playlist which might inspire chanting and or a sing along. She aims to both challenge her students as well as inspire them to find joy, laughter and above all, contentment during practice. She is known for including essential oil shoulder massage prior practice when time allows.
Susan is a life long student of yoga and feels deep gratitude to all of her teachers, the teachings and for the opportunity to share the them with her students.
Susan is a Registered Nurse, fitness instructor, animal activist, beginner knitter, humbled runner, insatiable reader, average gardener, and a serious Dog-mom.
